This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the rules and conditions for all bookings made through Mahadev Tourism. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Payment Policy
- All bookings require an advance payment to confirm the service.
- The remaining amount must be paid before or at the start of the journey.
- Payments can be made through UPI, bank transfer, cash, or other approved methods.
- Government taxes and additional charges (if applicable) will be added to the final bill.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled travel time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may result in full or partial deduction of the booking amount.
- For hotel bookings, tour packages, or third-party services, cancellation charges depend on the respective partner’s policy.
- If a vehicle has already been dispatched, fuel charges and driver allowances will be deducted.
3. Refund Policy
- Advance payments are generally non-refundable, except in special cases mentioned below.
- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 5–7 working days.
- Refunds may be eligible only if:
- The booking is cancelled by Mahadev Tourism due to operational issues.
- The trip cannot be completed due to vehicle breakdown and no alternate vehicle is available.
- The hotel or partner service provider is unable to confirm the booking.
4. No-Show Policy
- If the customer is not available at the pickup location and does not respond for 30 minutes, the booking will be marked as No-Show.
- No-show bookings are not eligible for refunds.
5. Changes & Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 12–24 hours before the trip.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability of vehicle, driver, and date.
- Additional charges may apply for changes in destination, duration, or distance.
6. Unforeseen Circumstances
Mahadev Tourism is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Political events
- Border restrictions (for Nepal routes)
- Natural calamities
- Roadblocks or traffic
- Government orders
In such cases, refunds will be processed based on actual expenses and partner policies.
7. Driver & Vehicle Policy
- If a customer is unhappy with the assigned driver or vehicle, they must inform us at the start of the trip.
- Replacement will be provided based on availability.
- Once the trip begins, no refund will be issued for driver/vehicle preference issues.
8. Third-Party Services
For hotels, sightseeing permits, and partner-operated services:
- Charges once paid to the vendor may not be refundable.
- Refunds depend on each vendor’s policy, over which Mahadev Tourism has no control.
